Building Snorkel Flow requires outstanding engineers and technologies across the stack, including scalable data pipelines, elegant and intuitive interfaces (both visual and programmatic), state-of-the-art ML modeling techniques, and best practices for seamless deployment. Modern AI approaches require large labeled training datasets to learn from. While traditional approaches typically rely on armies of human annotators to label by hand, Snorkel Flow empowers users to programmatically label and build training data sets to drive a radically faster, more flexible, and higher quality end-to-end AI development process. Snorkel Flow is an end-to-end development platform, complete with a GUI and powerful programmatic interfaces for driving the development process for full AI application workflows: from preprocessing, to programmatic training data creation, to ML model training, to analysis, and deployment. Snorkel AI is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to support our growth team. You’ll take lead on defining our content strategy across blog, social, and video to inspire and educate data scientists and machine learning engineers. You bring a high bar for editorial quality, the ability to simplify sophisticated topics through writing and editing, and proven expertise in putting a content plan into action across production, optimization, and amplification.

In this cross-functional role, you’ll work with our product, engineering, research, and sales engineering teams to build a content roadmap and be responsible for the editorial and publishing process. You’ll be able to bring your passion for technical storytelling and build original content as a writer. You’ll provide recommendations to build our content analytics stack and carry out regular reporting to improve content production.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the Snorkel AI content, editorial and social media calendars
• Manage Snorkel AI social media presence and produce engaging content for our target audience
• Work cross-functionally to develop content ideas for all communication channels including company blog, external publications, social media, and related content placements
• Edit content and assist authors with content development and refinement
• Write and edit blogs, eBooks, social media posts, and related online content
• Perform market and SEO research to drive content topics and trends
• Collaborate with key collaborators to prioritize topics for the editorial calendar, ensure consistent, high-quality content production, and publish content across channels
• Interview customers and internal team members to build metric-driven stories
• Maintain organized project plans and communicate to partners and collaborators when priorities shift
• Collaborate with the creative design and web development team to launch new engaging content experiences
• Utilize a data-driven approach to analyze project performance
• Contribute to other marketing team initiatives including events, internal communications, website copy, and executive presentations as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in content marketing, journalism, or professional writing/editing at a technology company or in a similar fast-paced industry
• Outstanding writing skills with proficiency in online formats
• Proven background writing for a technical audience with strong writing and editing skills
• Knowledge of best practices for online content formats, SEO and social media marketing
• Past experience mentoring content contributors to develop the best stories
• Exceptionally organized and a strong communicator
• Experience working with external partners including writers, customers, and agencies
• Familiarity with CMS software such as WordPress

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing and editing AI/ML related content
