Stax is looking to grow our Program Management leadership team. This leader will have a small enterprise team supporting three product lines as well as partnering with Product and Engineering product line leaders to enable execution and alignment to our strategic roadmaps. This leadership role manages end-to-end delivery of global, enterprise-wide product and technology initiatives ensuring strategic alignment with business goals. Drives cross-functional engagement and alignment between Business & Technology. Provides investment transparency, communication, visibility, uniform governance, standardized processes, and tools through the course of delivery. Facilitates the strategic planning practices for commerce investments including roadmap development, capacity planning and ongoing management.
Responsibilities:
- Understand partner/customer’s requirements and business model to define optimal Stax solution
- Work with cross functional teams (product, engineering, sales, operations) within company, and potentially some key customers, to define deliverables, risks and issues associated with delivery
- Drive outcomes and remove impediments for delivery
- Partner with Product Line leaders on driving the Agile evolution for that product line, including planning of multi-quarter roadmaps, leading to quarterly prioritization of value delivered
- Provide visibility and transparency to progress, and raise escalations as needed to deliver the end-to-end solution
Requirements
- Recruit, develop and retain top program managers to support product and engineering teams
- Participate in our Agile Evolution journey in Product & Technology
- Facilitate work across functional teams (product, engineering, sales, operations, marketing, finance, compliance, risk) within company to define risks and issues associated product line (PL)/sub-product line (SPL)
- Drive outcomes and remove impediments
- Provide visibility and transparency to progress, and raise escalations as needed to deliver the end-to-end solution
- Lead a highly, motivated robust team which owns driving multiple large-scale programs to successful outcomes
- Actively manage Stakeholders’ expectations, resource alignment and possible conflicting priorities across the product line (PL)/sub-product lines
- Ability to effectively to utilize negotiation skill sets to drive cross-functional team and Executives to make decisions in a timely manner to deliver initiatives as to agreed scope, schedule and within budget.
- Ensure alignment in company’s OKRs
- Strategically plan work upstream for future initiatives as well being able to shift to downstream work to support changing business needs/roadmap
- Continue process improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Business, or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience managing large Technology programs
- Strong experience in Agile at the enterprise level
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading and growing program managers
- Knowledge of Program Management concepts
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools such as Rally, Jira, CA PPM
