We’re looking for an experienced Internal Communications Director to help transform and elevate the function as part of a growing Executive and Internal Communications team. This is a tremendous career opportunity for an enterprising individual to serve as a senior business partner to a dynamic leadership team and talented cross-functional partners. This person will represent the perspective of the employee while advising the leadership team on best practices to inform, engage, align and inspire the team toward our mission of unlocking opportunity for America’s workforce. This person will play an integral role on both strategy and execution, leading a team and guiding effective communication practices across our company.

‍

This role reports to our VP of Executive and Internal Communications and is remote.

At Guild, we’re helping unlock opportunity and career mobility for America’s workforce. We do this by connecting frontline workers at some of the country’s largest companies with debt-free online education and upskilling programs, one-to-one coaching and other supportive services through our network of trusted partners. Together, we’re paving proven pathways to a better future for America’s workers and the companies that employ them. Over the course of the last year, nearly 5 million working adult learners had access to Guild’s career opportunity platform through their employer. We’re just getting started.

Founded in 2015 by CEO Rachel Romer Carlson, we have a proven track record of success. Learners who work with Guild tend to experience rates of raises and role changes that are vastly higher than their counterparts not engaged with Guild through their employers, and they have avoided hundreds of millions of dollars of student debt. Virtually all our learners who are using tuition assistance through Guild - 97% - graduate debt-free from tuition, textbooks, or fees.

Guild is a fast-paced, dynamic, social impact organization of inspired individuals motivated to tackle some of the most pressing challenges of our time at scale.
