CapWay is a fintech startup that is seeking to hire a Senior Web Developer who is familiar with Angular or React to join our team.

The senior web developer should be highly proficient at using CSS3 (with SASS as the preprocessor). We are looking for someone who understands how to apply both responsive and adaptive layout design techniques with little guidance. Must have a strong grasp of JavaScript.

The web developer should be able to extract and optimize assets from PSDs, Figma, or Sketch source files. In addition, they must know how to use the code revision tracking software GIT, plus be comfortable writing technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implementing UI mocks
• Styling UI components
• Adding usability features, such as ADA compliance
• Ability to use modern front end build tools (like Node and Webpack)

Ideal Candidate

• Someone who codes patterns or has a full understanding of frameworks like Angular or React
• Can Write clean, performant code
• Can work to improve and maintain the code health of all of our software; Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Is able to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Ability to gather requirements and provide accurate and realistic project milestones and timelines for completion
• Successfully performs any coding tests or challenges as required
• Delivers on time as discussed and clearly communicate any changes in deadlines as soon as possible
• Works closely with, and incorporate feedback from, product designers and other stakeholders in the company
• Good in communication - written and verbal communication skills
• Can work in a fast-paced start-up environment

Requirements

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient knowledge of JavaScript
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, the DOM
• Experience with Git version control
• Experience working with APIs
• Experience with popular web frameworks like Angular 9+ or React
